Woodchester Valley Vineyard is planted on unique terroir in the Cotswolds. The winemaking is overseen by English winemaker Jeremy Mount, who was trained at Plumpton College and has made wine all over the world, including in Chablis. This is the first vintage of their sparkling rosé to come from the estate’s new winery, built in 2016. It is a charmingly balanced example with fresh red berries, a subtle and well-rounded lees character, and a fresh, bright finish. Perfect as an aperitif or to cheers an occasion.
